Benedicto Stanislao recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 8th minute Anastasio Balendin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nunez Arias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anastasio Balendin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nunez Arias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Benedicto Stanislao's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nunez Arias was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. When Vicente Gutxi came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the ¡¡¡¡Púdrete Flanders!!!! fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vicente Gutxi couldn't finish the play. Benedicto Stanislao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Nunez Arias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the ¡¡¡¡Púdrete Flanders!!!! defense, Benedicto Stanislao kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nunez Arias. The ¡¡¡¡Púdrete Flanders!!!! fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nunez Arias should have stopped the shot. Benedicto Stanislao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nunez Arias having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in ¡¡¡¡Púdrete Flanders!!!!'s zone, Benedicto Stanislao stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nunez Arias came out of the goal and Benedicto Stanislao tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anastasio Balendin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nunez Arias having to interfere. Nunez Arias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anastasio Balendin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the game, Froilan Veremundo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ¡¡¡¡Púdrete Flanders!!!!'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zárate AFC the free kick. Froilan Veremundo hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anastasio Balendin to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benedicto Stanislao got free with Nunez Arias in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Froilan Veremundo kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. With a little luck, ¡¡¡¡Púdrete Flanders!!!!'s Nunez Arias got control of the ball when Benedicto Stanislao tried to sneak it across the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, German Bermund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ¡¡¡¡Púdrete Flanders!!!!'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zárate AFC the free kick. After recieving a nice pass, Zárate AFC's Marcelino Rudolfo tried to score from far away in the 59th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Anastasio Balendin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ¡¡¡¡Púdrete Flanders!!!!'s Nunez Arias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anastasio Balendin in the 63rd minute of play. In the 66th minute Zárate AFC were awarded a corner. Marcelino Rudolfo went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Zárate AFC's corner Marcelino Rudolfo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nunez Arias quite easily take care of the ball. Nunez Arias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anastasio Balendin in the 74th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Zárate AFC's zone, Froilan Veremundo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melchor Eguerdi came out of the goal and Froilan Veremundo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zárate AFC's Benedicto Stanislao got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 83 minutes, Froilan Veremundo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ¡¡¡¡Púdrete Flanders!!!!'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Froilan Veremundo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emilio Franco struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Nunez Arias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zárate AFC. Zárate AFC's Benedicto Stanislao got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nunez Arias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benedicto Stanislao in the 93rd minute. Nunez Arias was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Anastasio Balendin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anastasio Balendin really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2.
