The audience was convinced that Lucas Gelacio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnulfo Artal was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Lucas Gelacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Arnulfo Artal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Avai FC booed when Kяäd!vächε FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicanor Chaime didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute, Kяäd!vächε FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lucas Gelacio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Anacleto Arotza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Lalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. When Enrique Amato fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kяäd!vächε FC's protests and gave Enrique Amato a yellow card for diving instead. Enrique Amato hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Arnulfo Artal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Gelacio in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Gelacio in the 30th minute of play forced Kяäd!vächε FC's goalkeeper Arnulfo Artal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Avai FC's Robustiano Eutor got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Lucas Gelacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Lucas Gelacio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teo Nahia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucas Gelacio to make the kick off. In the 57th minute Emanuel Lalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anacleto Arotza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd match minute, Kяäd!vächε FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artemio Saturnin to maneuver through the defense. The Avai FC fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when Avai FC's Robustiano Eutor looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. There was no doubt that Avai FC were the better team. Avai FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
