After the first half Madrejón were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Fermin Dalmai made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Jimeno Jokin sent off a good shot on target. Baldomiro Reynardo hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. If Jimeno Jokin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. But to his dismay, Jimeno Jokin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romulo Bartolome in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fermin Dalmai saved INDEPENDIENTE F.C. from getting behind. Melchor Manex showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgilio Benvido in the 90th minute of the match. If Jimeno Jokin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the game, Baldomiro Reynardo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Madrejón the free kick. Baldomiro Reynardo kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. 97 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Bartolome came free, but Fermin Dalmai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The INDEPENDIENTE F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Madrejón were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
