Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Igor Abadia got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Rogelio Eufrasio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gaona's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogelio Eufrasio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jimeno Gotzon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Onna FC's zone, Igor Abadia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jimeno Gotzon came out of the goal and Igor Abadia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Onna FC's Jimeno Gotzon got control of the ball when Rogelio Eufrasio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rogelio Eufrasio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Jimeno Gotzon made a huge save. If Igor Abadia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rogelio Eufrasio hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Igor Abadia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Roberto Beti fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Onna FC's protests and gave Roberto Beti a yellow card for diving instead. Gaona's Apolo Maldonado couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 35th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Onna FC. When Igor Abadia came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Gaona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Abadia couldn't finish the play. After 43 minutes, Igor Abadia made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Onna FC's Jimeno Gotzon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mateo Txindoki to make the kick off. Apolo Maldonado, 56 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Igor Abadia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jimeno Gotzon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Abadia, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Eufrasio in the 61st minute of play forced Onna FC's goalkeeper Jimeno Gotzon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Higinio Ongile received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Jimeno Gotzon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Rogelio Eufrasio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Mateo Txindoki dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leopoldo Polo, 2-1. When Arnulfo Fernado fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Onna FC's protests and gave Arnulfo Fernado a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gaona booed when Onna FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnulfo Fernado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute Albano Cilio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimeno Gotzon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Gaona's zone, Leo Chano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leopoldo Polo came out of the goal and Leo Chano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Rogelio Eufrasio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Rogelio Eufrasio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jimeno Gotzon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Abadia in the 89th minute of play. When Rogelio Eufrasio came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Gaona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogelio Eufrasio couldn't finish the play. If Rogelio Eufrasio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Igor Abadia in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jimeno Gotzon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gaona walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
