Venancio Soter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Jacinto Opilano had several of the Verónica's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 20 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Venancio Soter as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a rather tough play, Saca chispas's Fernando Tabor got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After 29th play minutes Jacinto Opilano shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Venancio Soter and just under the crossbar into goal. Gustavo Gaspard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernabe Calvino in the 35th minute of play. Bernabe Calvino succeeded in the game's 42nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-1. 5-1 became the score in the 48th minute when Jacinto Opilano elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-1.

Verónica's Venancio Soter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Opilano in the 54th minute of play. Elvio Francis's late challenge caught a Saca chispas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elvio Francis helped the player get up and apologised. Saca chispas's Genaro Gizon managed to work through Verónica's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Genaro Gizon dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Venancio Soter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genaro Gizon, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 65 minutes into the match, Saca chispas's goalkeeper Gustavo Gaspard had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicolas Bazil. Genaro Gizon spun around in front of the goal 68 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Verónica's goal. Venancio Soter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Opilano in the 73rd minute of play. Bernabe Calvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Gustavo Gaspard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erasmo Sayveon kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Venancio Soter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Opilano, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute.
