Victor Vincente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nereo Tallia in the 43rd minute of the match. Anselmo Guib sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anselmo Guib to strike the kick off in the second half. Teodoro Orkatz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Victor Vincente. 3-0. 96 minutes into the game, Escurfa's Nereo Tallia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victor Vincente made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. If Anselmo Guib had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Palma's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
