Spectators: 7288 (Terracing: 5468, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 144) River De Rio Tercero's Filomeno Ofelio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eugenio Berriotxoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind River De Rio Tercero's goalkeeper Rafael Geofredo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Salvador Seber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filomeno Ofelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vicente Patrido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Rafael Geofredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafael Geofredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Berriotxoa in the 22nd minute of the match. If Victor Azeari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Azeari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Geofredo having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Inocencio Abella during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of River De Rio Tercero booed when Penca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Abella didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victorio Tolino in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Salvador Seber saved Penca from getting behind. If Vicente Patrido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victor Azeari in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafael Geofredo prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

In the 59th match minute, River De Rio Tercero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Phelipe to maneuver through the defense. Penca's Vicente Patrido got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Victorio Tolino fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Salvador Seber, passed just outside the right post. Victorio Tolino scored 0-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Salvador Seber, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vicente Patrido in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafael Geofredo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Patrido in the 84th minute of play forced River De Rio Tercero's goalkeeper Rafael Geofredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victorio Tolino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filomeno Ofelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Salvador Seber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 92 minutes, Eugenio Berriotxoa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Penca and the River De Rio Tercero players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd minute, Eugenio Berriotxoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vicente Patrido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Penca's much stronger midfield.
