Anier Cidro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th match minute, Sarah was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Geleberto to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Severo Frederico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belgrano de Cordoba's supporters rose to their feet, but Severo Frederico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anier Cidro was the one to do the kick off. Dario Macerio came out of the goal and Maximo Chuse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Chuse in the 53rd minute of play forced Belgrano de Cordoba's goalkeeper Dario Macerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56thth minute of the game Humberto Ellande who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belgrano de Cordoba's Dario Macerio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dario Macerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Chuse in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Sarah's Maximo Chuse nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dario Macerio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. If Humberto Ellande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute.
