With his leg Fernan Roland managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when Zapala's Ildefonso Oro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fernan Roland made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Ildefonso Oro sent off a good shot on target. Dionisio Mede kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Artemio Chayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Fernan Roland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leandro Mattin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnulfo Oriol having to interfere. If Leandro Mattin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernan Roland stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Artemio Chayo's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. With a little luck, argentinos del sud's Fernan Roland got control of the ball when Ildefonso Oro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fernan Roland was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Artemio Chayo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Artemio Chayo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After some careless play in the argentinos del sud defense, Cristian Tulio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernan Roland. The argentinos del sud fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernan Roland should have stopped the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Artemio Chayo in the 88th minute of play forced argentinos del sud's goalkeeper Fernan Roland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to argentinos del sud getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Leandro Mattin hit a great ball.
