Rodeo FC's Arnaldo Veremundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavio Jayvier in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Cayetano Pitin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristo Frances was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A collision led to labase getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Erubiel Naldo hit a great ball. In the 19th match minute, labase was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erubiel Naldo to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the game, Bernardino Quexal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. labase's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rodeo FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, labase's Bernardino Quexal got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Cayetano Pitin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. labase's Cristo Frances played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Pitin in the 28th minute of play. Cristo Frances showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Lordi in the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Pitin in the 32nd minute of play forced labase's goalkeeper Cristo Frances to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Candido Berto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35thth minute of the game Santiago Lordi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but labase's Cristo Frances was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Octavio Jayvier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnaldo Veremundo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Santiago Lordi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Cristo Frances tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santiago Lordi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Santiago Lordi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Rodeo FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Santiago Lordi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Cristo Frances when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cristo Frances stood somewhat misplaced when Santiago Lordi came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 54 minute. labase's Cristo Frances proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save labase from getting a goal against them. Everardo Jaunti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Cayetano Pitin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rodeo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cayetano Pitin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristo Frances breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Santiago Lordi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 69 played minutes Rodeo FC got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Peli. After 70 minutes, Carmelo Lluciano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the labase and the Rodeo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Carmelo Lluciano kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Cayetano Pitin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Cristo Frances tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Cayetano Pitin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristo Frances was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Pitin in the 83rd minute of play forced labase's goalkeeper Cristo Frances to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honorio Peli's late challenge caught a labase's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Honorio Peli helped the player get up and apologised. In the 90th minute, Honorio Peli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Jayvier in the 93rd minute of play forced Rodeo FC's goalkeeper Arnaldo Veremundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristo Frances showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cayetano Pitin, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the match was over Rodeo FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than labase throughout the match.
