Benito Marcones recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hector Txilar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvaro Nataniel's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. After having played for 21 minutes, Alvaro Nataniel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tirate al pasto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvaro Nataniel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Alvaro Nataniel made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tirate al pasto! Benigno Roldanillo shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvaro Nataniel got free with Hector Txilar in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alvaro Nataniel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hector Txilar came out and tried to block the shot, but Alvaro Nataniel slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 94th minute. Teodoro Estavan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tirate al pasto played a much better game than ajo y agua and deserved their victory. The ajo y agua players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
