Spectators: 6300 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1200, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Modesto Monico started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Dr Tangalanga booed when Embalse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timoteo Fernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Americo Barto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Roberto Romelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Dr Tangalanga's Leopoldo Gines got a free kick in the 7th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Modesto Monico in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roberto Romelio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Embalse's goalkeeper Martin Grabiel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 23 minutes of play, Embalse's Americo Barto made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roberto Romelio was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Modesto Monico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Embalse's supporters rose to their feet, but Modesto Monico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Romelio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Dr Tangalanga's Bruno Orlin got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute Modesto Monico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Romelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes in the game, Celedonio Gorbea fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Martin Grabiel having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silverio Geleberto to strike the kick off in the second half. Martin Grabiel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celedonio Gorbea, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. If Celedonio Gorbea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Americo Barto got free with Roberto Romelio in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adolfo Oier hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Modesto Monico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute, Adolfo Oier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute, Modesto Monico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 65th match minute, Dr Tangalanga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimeno Restu to maneuver through the defense. Americo Barto struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Roberto Romelio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Embalse. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Modesto Monico managed to get in a good position for a shot. The tension between the Embalse and the Dr Tangalanga players grew even worse after the yellow card. Silverio Geleberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silverio Geleberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. In the 96th minute, one of Dr Tangalanga:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dr Tangalanga. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Embalse eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
