Marciano FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugenio Feo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Midland's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Feo came free, but Paolo Lertxun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 35 minutes, Gonzalo Aznar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marciano FC and the Midland players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36th match minute, Marciano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo Aznar to maneuver through the defense. Eugenio Feo might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paolo Lertxun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eugenio Feo ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugenio Feo in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paolo Lertxun saved Midland from getting behind.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Everardo Rufo made a kick off. Eugenio Feo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 51stth minute tested the skills of Paolo Lertxun when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Paolo Lertxun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Everardo Rufo in the 53rd minute of the match. If Nereo Bautista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the match, Midland's goalkeeper Paolo Lertxun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eugenio Feo. 64 minutes into the match, Marciano FC's Eugenio Feo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paolo Lertxun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eugenio Feo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Paolo Lertxun made a huge save. Everardo Rufo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paolo Lertxun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Midland's Paolo Lertxun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Midland from getting a goal against them. In the 73rd minute, Eugenio Feo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marciano FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Javier Geofredo hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the game, Eugenio Feo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Paolo Lertxun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Paolo Lertxun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eugenio Feo in the 86th minute. Paolo Lertxun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Everardo Rufo's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. A hard shot 88 in the game by Eugenio Feo from a close distance when the talented Paolo Lertxun managed to make a qualified save. Midland's players were relieved. Gonzalo Aznar got his second yellow card in the match during the 90th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hilario Gartzi during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 94th match minute, Midland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hilario Gartzi to maneuver through the defense. Marciano FC played a much better game than Midland and deserved their victory. The Midland players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
