Isidro Ramond struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. German Firmin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hormiguero. German Firmin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidro Ramond, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. German Firmin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteve Ospetsu in the 8th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro Ramond in the 16th minute of play forced Garruchos's goalkeeper German Firmin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Eloy Guillelmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but German Firmin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Hipolito Marino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. German Firmin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Isidro Ramond managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hormiguero's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidro Ramond was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. German Firmin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isidro Ramond's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but German Firmin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Esteve Ospetsu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isidro Ramond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without German Firmin having to interfere. If Isidro Ramond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. German Firmin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Ramond, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, Hormiguero's Isidro Ramond sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that German Firmin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Isidro Ramond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without German Firmin having to interfere. After 43 played minutes Garruchos got a freekick which was hit by Gualterio Chuse. Eduardo Iraido, 45 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 47 minutes into the game, Eloy Guillelmo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. German Firmin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Garruchos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hormiguero were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Isidro Ramond made the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 53 in the game by Esteve Ospetsu from a close distance when the talented German Firmin managed to make a qualified save. Garruchos's players were relieved. 61 minutes into the match, Garruchos's goalkeeper German Firmin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Esteve Ospetsu. Esteve Ospetsu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, German Firmin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Isidro Ramond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. German Firmin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Ramond in the 79th minute of play. Armando Orlandus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Garruchos's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Ramond came free, but German Firmin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. German Firmin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Ramond in the 86th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Garruchos defense, Esteve Ospetsu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of German Firmin. The Garruchos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that German Firmin should have stopped the shot. In the 94th minute, Hormiguero's Isidro Ramond ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind German Firmin. German Firmin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Eloy Guillelmo's late challenge caught a Garruchos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eloy Guillelmo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Garruchos booed when Hormiguero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eloy Guillelmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Hormiguero could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Garruchos throughout the match.
