Aquilino Hartz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudencio Gerazan in the 56th minute of play. When Leon Basajaun was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 61 minutes had been played. After a defensive mix-up in PLATENSE VOLVERA's zone, Arnoldo Gudesteo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santo Hartz came out of the goal and Arnoldo Gudesteo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Tiburcio Chayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
