Benjamin Calvino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Quilino in the 4th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cartoneros Unidos FC's Eduardo Bertol got a free kick in the 7th minute. Evelio Jacindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Calvino having to interfere. After having played for 17 minutes, Ramiro Jenaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cartoneros Unidos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramiro Jenaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 18 minutes, Romeo Florinio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Raulet AFC and the Cartoneros Unidos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th match minute, Raulet AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Florinio to maneuver through the defense. Benjamin Calvino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evelio Jacindo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Cartoneros Unidos FC's zone, Agustin Quilino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Calvino came out of the goal and Agustin Quilino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 22 played minutes Cartoneros Unidos FC got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Gizon. 23 minutes into the match, Agustin Quilino notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Cartoneros Unidos FC's Benjamin Calvino. Benjamin Calvino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Agustin Quilino struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Benjamin Calvino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Raulet AFC. Evelio Jacindo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th minute of the match Teodosio Pueblo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benjamin Calvino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Cartoneros Unidos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Quilino came free, but Benjamin Calvino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agustin Quilino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the match, Cartoneros Unidos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Evelio Jacindo came free, but Benjamin Calvino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, Raulet AFC's goalkeeper Prudencio Ladio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victoriano Silban. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ramiro Jenaro to make the kick off. Cartoneros Unidos FC's Eduardo Bertol was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Prudencio Ladio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Agustin Quilino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Benjamin Calvino made a huge save. Gogo Gizon's late challenge caught a Raulet AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gogo Gizon helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cartoneros Unidos FC's Gogo Gizon got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 59th match minute, Cartoneros Unidos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Tonete to maneuver through the defense. When Siro Santikurtz fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cartoneros Unidos FC's protests and gave Siro Santikurtz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Raulet AFC booed when Cartoneros Unidos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Santikurtz didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Agustin Quilino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st match minute, Cartoneros Unidos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Seguinus to maneuver through the defense. Agustin Quilino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Benjamin Calvino made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Raulet AFC's Evelio Jacindo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benjamin Calvino. That made the score 0-2 after 75 minutes of play. Agustin Quilino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Benjamin Calvino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Cartoneros Unidos FC's Benjamin Calvino got control of the ball when Agustin Quilino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benjamin Calvino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evelio Jacindo in the 96th minute of the match. Raulet AFC played a much better game than Cartoneros Unidos FC and deserved their victory. The Cartoneros Unidos FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
