The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Alvaro Cordearo managed to get in a good position for a shot. CICLON FUTBOL CLUB's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvaro Cordearo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 56thth minute of the game Alvaro Cordearo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vázques AFC's Ladislao Mendebal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Octavio Cordairo kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Vázques AFC's Ladislao Mendebal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Cordearo in the 63rd minute of play. Leonides Martxel might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ladislao Mendebal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonides Martxel ran back to his position shaking his head. If Alvaro Cordearo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute Leonides Martxel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislao Mendebal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Vázques AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
