Celestino Elivareo started the match with the kick off. Cristian Valentine didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cesar Bastiaro went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 6 minutes into the match, Mocoretá's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Elivareo came free, but Cristian Valentine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cesar Bastiaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Valentine having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Celestino Elivareo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristian Valentine was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Cristian Valentine stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Celestino Elivareo's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. When Celestino Elivareo came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Grünbein fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celestino Elivareo couldn't finish the play. 15 minutes into the match, Cesar Bastiaro notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Mocoretá's Cristian Valentine. Cristian Valentine was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cesar Bastiaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristian Valentine read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. When Grünbein's Celestino Elivareo in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mocoretá's goalie prevented a goal. Cristian Valentine came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Grünbein's Celestino Elivareo. But to his dismay, Celestino Elivareo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. When Grünbein's Celestino Elivareo in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mocoretá's goalie prevented a goal. Celestino Elivareo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristian Valentine read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Cesar Bastiaro might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristian Valentine. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cesar Bastiaro ran back to his position shaking his head. After 39 minutes, Celestino Elivareo made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Mocoretá's Cristian Valentine tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Damaso Gaskon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesar Bastiaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Horacio Omero to strike the kick off in the second half. Cesar Bastiaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Valentine having to interfere. Celestino Elivareo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Cristian Valentine when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 55 minutes into the match, Mocoretá's goalkeeper Cristian Valentine had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celestino Elivareo. Cesar Bastiaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Celestino Elivareo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 62 played minutes Mocoretá got a freekick which was hit by Diego Bihar. Grünbein's Celestino Elivareo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 67th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. A collision led to Grünbein getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Angel Gaitan hit a great ball. Diego Bihar kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Cesar Bastiaro fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Cristian Valentine, passed just outside the right post. Cristian Valentine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celestino Elivareo, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Celestino Elivareo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Grünbein booed when Mocoretá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Bihar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damaso Gaskon struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Lucio Admon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mocoretá.
