Spectators: 6619 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1619, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Horacio Omero made the kick off which started today's match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Godofredo Erauso got free with Cristian Valentine in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Valentine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godofredo Erauso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the game, Ladislao Maule was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mocoretá's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montserrat AFC the free kick. Ladislao Maule kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Mocoretá's Agustin Milio got a free kick in the 13th minute. Isidro Azevedo's late challenge caught a Montserrat AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isidro Azevedo helped the player get up and apologised. If Horacio Omero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horacio Omero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hugo Rius read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Paolo Inko hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Montserrat AFC's Gaudencio Jerrald got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute Horacio Omero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Rius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Damaso Gaskon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mocoretá fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Godofredo Erauso was the one to do the kick off. Horacio Omero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Hugo Rius made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Godofredo Erauso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montserrat AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Godofredo Erauso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristian Valentine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mocoretá's Cristian Valentine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godofredo Erauso in the 55th minute of play. Hugo Rius was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Horacio Omero capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Horacio Omero really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. After a rather tough play, Montserrat AFC's Teodosio Lluis got a free kick in the 59th minute. Hugo Rius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximiliano Stephen in the 62nd minute. In the 65th minute, Horacio Omero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 66 played minutes Montserrat AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Jerrald. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Omero in the 67th minute of play forced Montserrat AFC's goalkeeper Hugo Rius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 70 minutes, Godfredo Sanson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Montserrat AFC and the Mocoretá players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th match minute, Montserrat AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godfredo Sanson to maneuver through the defense. After 76 played minutes Montserrat AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Jerrald. After a defensive mix-up in Mocoretá's zone, Godofredo Erauso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Valentine came out of the goal and Godofredo Erauso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the match, Montserrat AFC's goalkeeper Hugo Rius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damaso Gaskon. Hugo Rius was a little too slow when Horacio Omero got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 0-3. In the 92nd minute, Amadeo Intxixu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th match minute, Montserrat AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Reno to maneuver through the defense. The Montserrat AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mocoretá's performance. The match ended with a win for Mocoretá.
