Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Fanuco to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Jose Demario was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. claypole City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DEP. COKETTA the free kick. In the 51st match minute, claypole City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Demario to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Fanuco in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfonso Obeko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benigno Henry's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfonso Obeko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Pascual Maldonado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 65 minutes of play, DEP. COKETTA's Francisco Fanuco made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfonso Obeko was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Francisco Fanuco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfonso Obeko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Henry in the 76th minute of play. In the 82nd minute of the match Rodolfo Fernandez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfonso Obeko showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 83rd minute, Francisco Fanuco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfonso Obeko was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Benigno Henry's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfonso Obeko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Baldomiro Tercero struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Alfonso Obeko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DEP. COKETTA. DEP. COKETTA's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
