Laureano Otsando was slow to take the kick. During this time Sporting de Punta Alta's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Sporting de Punta Alta's Laureano Otsando to fire away a dangerous shot which Rene Vedillo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Liverpool FC's Rene Vedillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Arce in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Anastasio Ekain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute of the match Laureano Otsando shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rene Vedillo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Eutropio in the 27th minute of play forced Liverpool FC's goalkeeper Rene Vedillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salvador Arce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Rene Vedillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eleuterio Karmel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Atilano Senin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rene Vedillo having to make a save. With a little luck, Liverpool FC's Rene Vedillo got control of the ball when Blas Abreu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Salvador Arce struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Rene Vedillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting de Punta Alta. Cipriano Eutropio scored 0-2 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rene Vedillo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rene Vedillo made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Cipriano Eutropio sent off a good shot on target. 64 minutes into the match, Liverpool FC's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Arce came free, but Rene Vedillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Salvador Arce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rene Vedillo made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Cipriano Eutropio sent off a good shot on target. If Cipriano Eutropio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Salvador Arce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Rene Vedillo made a huge save. Cipriano Eutropio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cipriano Eutropio took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rene Vedillo. Rene Vedillo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Aaron Aznaro kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 86th match minute, Liverpool FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Argi to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Cipriano Eutropio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting de Punta Alta's supporters rose to their feet, but Cipriano Eutropio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rene Vedillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rene Vedillo came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting de Punta Alta's Cipriano Eutropio. But to his dismay, Cipriano Eutropio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Rene Vedillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Arce, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. After having played for 97 minutes, Salvador Arce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting de Punta Alta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salvador Arce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Sporting de Punta Alta could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Liverpool FC throughout the match.
