In the 15th match minute, Lugones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rosendo Rexino to maneuver through the defense. If Gaudencio Nel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 21 minutes of play, Angualasto AFC's Braulio Sauveur made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. A very good chance. After having played for 30 minutes, Gaudencio Nel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Angualasto AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaudencio Nel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Braulio Sauveur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Sauveur in the 33rd minute of play forced Lugones's goalkeeper Basilio Marcones to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Gaudencio Nel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Basilio Marcones was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Gaudencio Nel struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Basilio Marcones didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Angualasto AFC.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabricio Arotza to strike the kick off in the second half. Angualasto AFC's Gaudencio Nel got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
