Marcelino Napier was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Guido Txilar. If Melquiades Arnalt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severino Ireno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Marcelino Napier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lino Oxarra got free with Marcelino Napier in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcelino Napier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Oxarra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uriel Tello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melquiades Arnalt in the 20th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tulumaya AFC's Nemesio Teyo got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Aldao AFC's Uriel Tello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urbano Guillelme in the 33rd minute of play. After 46 played minutes Tulumaya AFC got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Teyo. After some fancy dribbling in the 50th minute, Alejandro Martxot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aldao AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejandro Martxot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelino Napier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Melquiades Arnalt made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Nemesio Teyo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 56 played minutes Aldao AFC got a freekick which was hit by Sixto Gonzo. Melquiades Arnalt was extremely unlucky when he, in the 57th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Uriel Tello didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Melquiades Arnalt went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Higinio Guilabertus's late challenge caught a Aldao AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Higinio Guilabertus helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd minute, Higinio Guilabertus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee felt a red card was in order, 65 minutes into the game, when Vladimiro Fidensio put in a rough tackle. In the 65th minute, one of Tulumaya AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tulumaya AFC.
