Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mariano Jeraldo kicked off to start the match. 12 minutes into the match, America's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Joseph came free, but Cristian Vellito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elpidio Joseph recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guachipas's Angelo Cloyo suffered a sore thigh after 21 minutes and couldn't finish the game. A collision led to America getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Gaspar Franco hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Mariano Jeraldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fermin Galeno's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Santos Chico - 0-1 was put on the score board in the 25th minute. Elpidio Joseph's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cristian Vellito firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 30th minute, Elpidio Joseph got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elpidio Joseph received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Cristian Vellito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Anibal Txordon came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Guachipas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anibal Txordon couldn't finish the play. If Elpidio Joseph had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 played minutes America got a freekick which was hit by Anier Ubendu. Isaias Silbestre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Anier Ubendu made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Anier Ubendu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. America's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anier Ubendu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Serafin Lizer kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Mariano Jeraldo scored 1-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristian Vellito, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 61st match minute, Guachipas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Jeraldo to maneuver through the defense. Elpidio Joseph sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Vellito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Martinez in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Joseph in the 70th minute of play forced America's goalkeeper Cristian Vellito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pablo Martinez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Elpidio Joseph had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind America's goalkeeper Cristian Vellito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, America's Nicolas Herrera got a free kick in the 75th minute. Cristian Vellito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Joseph in the 77th minute of play. Guachipas's Santos Chico proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Guachipas from getting a goal against them. Isaias Silbestre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anibal Txordon's late challenge caught a America's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anibal Txordon helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Guachipas's Anibal Txordon got a free kick in the 86th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaias Silbestre got free with Santos Chico in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Anier Ubendu took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Santos Chico to make any attempt to save it. Elpidio Joseph fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Vellito having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. America had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
