Spectators: 6414 (Terracing: 5414, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Benicio Koldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Genaro Berriotxoa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saturnino Argenis's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Osvaldo Onbera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Genaro Berriotxoa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Aguayo's zone, Sixto Abaurre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jimeno Montez came out of the goal and Sixto Abaurre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th minute Christian Martino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimeno Montez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Olascoaga's goal looked a bit too open when Justino Hunfredo came free, but Genaro Berriotxoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osvaldo Onbera came free with the goalkeeper in the 37th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Genaro Berriotxoa could save by the left post. Jimeno Montez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Martino in the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th match minute, Aguayo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Generoso Sidoro to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute, Claudio Monte sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Aguayo's Jimeno Montez didn't even have to move. Jimeno Montez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixto Abaurre in the 43rd minute of the match. If Osvaldo Onbera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th match minute, Olascoaga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Policarpio to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christian Martino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Osvaldo Onbera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Genaro Berriotxoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Genaro Berriotxoa came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Aguayo's Saturnino Argenis. But to his dismay, Saturnino Argenis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 63 minutes into the match, Aguayo's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Martino came free, but Jimeno Montez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute of the match, Sixto Abaurre got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jimeno Montez was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Saturnino Argenis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Genaro Berriotxoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnino Argenis in the 75th minute of play forced Olascoaga's goalkeeper Genaro Berriotxoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Osvaldo Onbera struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Genaro Berriotxoa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aguayo. In the 97th match minute, Aguayo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Generoso Sidoro to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Olascoaga's Claudio Monte tried to score from far away in the 98th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Olascoaga's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
