After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Augusto Piarres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dylan F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Augusto Piarres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abelardo Oliverio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Dylan F.C getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Ruperto Argider hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Dylan F.C's zone, Edgard Ranolfo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Inocencio Paul came out of the goal and Edgard Ranolfo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dylan F.C's Inocencio Paul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Chico in the 18th minute of play. If Edgard Ranolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Argider in the 26th minute of play forced MILLONARIOS F.C.'s goalkeeper Abelardo Oliverio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augusto Piarres struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Abelardo Oliverio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dylan F.C. In the 28th match minute, MILLONARIOS F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnulfo Mantzio to maneuver through the defense. Dylan F.C's Augusto Piarres got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abelardo Oliverio made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Augusto Piarres sent off a good shot on target. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind MILLONARIOS F.C.'s goalkeeper Abelardo Oliverio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ruperto Argider received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Abelardo Oliverio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ruperto Argider to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Argider in the 55th minute of play forced MILLONARIOS F.C.'s goalkeeper Abelardo Oliverio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dylan F.C's Inocencio Paul proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Dylan F.C from getting a goal against them. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
