Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Reynaldo Chesus kicked off to start the match. Nereo Lon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jorge Urbasa having to make a save. In the 9th minute Nereo Lon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Urbasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nereo Lon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Nereo Lon got free in front of the goal in the 14th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Jorge Urbasa was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Anselmo Cresconio kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Nereo Lon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Urbasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Urbasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nereo Lon, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After 23 minutes, Martin Sasoin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Nicolas FC and the Sinquieal players grew even worse after the yellow card. With an all-out effort, Sinquieal's Jorge Urbasa threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nereo Lon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The crowd rose to their feet as Sinquieal's Nereo Lon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jorge Urbasa. That made the score 1-0 after 27 minutes of play. In the 37th minute, Sinquieal's Nereo Lon dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. When Nereo Lon came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Sinquieal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nereo Lon couldn't finish the play. After 43 minutes, Eustaquio Galindo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Nicolas FC and the Sinquieal players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th minute, Silvestre Iraido left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sinquieal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nereo Lon was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the San Nicolas FC defense, Nereo Lon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jorge Urbasa. The San Nicolas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorge Urbasa should have stopped the shot. 55 minutes into the match, San Nicolas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Lon came free, but Jorge Urbasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. San Nicolas FC's Jorge Urbasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Lon in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Lon in the 58th minute of play forced San Nicolas FC's goalkeeper Jorge Urbasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 61 minutes, Zeledon Osoro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sinquieal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeledon Osoro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Nereo Lon came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Sinquieal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nereo Lon couldn't finish the play. If Zeledon Osoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, San Nicolas FC's Paolo Resto got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 70th minute Nereo Lon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Urbasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Urbasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Lon in the 73rd minute of play. Jorge Urbasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nereo Lon in the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Reynaldo Chesus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute Fulgencio Camerino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Urbasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Lon in the 81st minute of play forced San Nicolas FC's goalkeeper Jorge Urbasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorge Urbasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nereo Lon went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nereo Lon in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Urbasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nereo Lon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, Sinquieal's Christian Arnas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorge Urbasa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sinquieal's Nereo Lon got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. San Nicolas FC's Jorge Urbasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Lon in the 91st minute of play. Sinquieal's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
