In the 12th minute of the match Raimundo Neron shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fulgencio Felipo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fulgencio Felipo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Berdaitz in the 14th minute of the match. When Tabacal AFC's Severino Iyan in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gualterio Bonifaco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Iyan in the 40th minute of the match. Atlas FC's Gualterio Bonifaco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Iyan in the 42nd minute of play. Severino Iyan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Esteban Obeko came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Atlas FC fans jumped to their feet. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The supporters of Tabacal AFC booed when Atlas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximo Cesaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gualterio Bonifaco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severino Iyan's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Aristides Ariando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tabacal AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aristides Ariando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gualterio Bonifaco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maximo Cesaro during the 73rd minute.
