Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fermin Anaya got the match started through his kick off. Edgard Nuxila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Naldo having to interfere. Edelmiro Ariando made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Chepes FC's zone, Angel Turi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edelmiro Ariando came out of the goal and Angel Turi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chucul's Paulo Naldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Nuxila in the 33rd minute of play. After 34 played minutes Chucul got a freekick which was hit by Honorato Sauveur. If Pablo Bero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edgard Nuxila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Pablo Bero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chepes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pablo Bero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Naldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pablo Bero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Naldo having to interfere. Edgard Nuxila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Paulo Naldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 46 minutes, Edgard Nuxila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chepes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgard Nuxila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angel Turi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Ariando having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgard Nuxila made a kick off. The supporters of Chepes FC booed when Chucul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Calvino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgard Nuxila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Naldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Nuxila, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Honorato Sauveur during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pablo Bero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Fermin Anaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute Edgard Nuxila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Naldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pablo Bero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bonifacio Frichoso hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Paulo Naldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Nuxila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 93 played minutes Chepes FC got a freekick which was hit by Zacarias Ioritz.
