Gaudencio Rio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Sadurni, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 7th minute of the game. One of Muchachos FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of 3 OMBUES FUTBOL CLUB:s goal. Daniel Bortzaioriz walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After 23 minutes, Denis Sindo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 3 OMBUES FUTBOL CLUB and the Muchachos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd minute, one of 3 OMBUES FUTBOL CLUB:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for 3 OMBUES FUTBOL CLUB. Eduardo Lleir might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaudencio Rio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eduardo Lleir ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 31st minute of the match Melquiades Furman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gaudencio Rio skillfully saved the ball. In the 36th minute Emilio Sadurni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaudencio Rio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emilio Sadurni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eduardo Lleir struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Gaudencio Rio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Muchachos FC. If Eduardo Lleir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The 3 OMBUES FUTBOL CLUB players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Muchachos FC were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabio Soin was the one to do the kick off. Muchachos FC's Evelio Opilano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Soin in the 52nd minute of play. Gaudencio Rio was a little too slow when Emilio Sadurni got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 0-3. In the 58thth minute of the game Fabio Soin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Muchachos FC's Evelio Opilano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emilio Sadurni was extremely unlucky when he, in the 62nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a rather tough play, 3 OMBUES FUTBOL CLUB's Efrain Hermelando got a free kick in the 67th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Eduardo Lleir notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of 3 OMBUES FUTBOL CLUB's Gaudencio Rio. Gaudencio Rio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ovidio Leoiar struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Evelio Opilano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 3 OMBUES FUTBOL CLUB. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eduardo Lleir got free with Gaudencio Rio in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 92 minutes into the match, Muchachos FC's Emilio Sadurni sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaudencio Rio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gaudencio Rio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Sadurni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Muchachos FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
