In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind River F.C.'s goalkeeper Leopoldo Librado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 17th minute, Lisandro Louis made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Cisco. Bouquet FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Orlando Iigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The River F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leopoldo Librado should have stopped the shot. Lisandro Louis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Cisco having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Mariano Ishmael ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Cisco was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Bouquet FC's zone, Lisandro Louis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bouquet FC's Joaquin Cisco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Ishmael in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Louis in the 38th minute of play forced Bouquet FC's goalkeeper Joaquin Cisco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Mariano Ishmael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquin Cisco came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by River F.C.'s Mariano Ishmael. But to his dismay, Mariano Ishmael quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ambrosio Cordarin during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ambrosio Cordarin hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aaron Tercero made a kick off. Leopoldo Librado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Iigo in the 64th minute of the match. Leopoldo Librado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Lisandro Louis got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Ambrosio Cordarin was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 95 minutes had been played. In the 96th match minute, River F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ambrosio Cordarin to maneuver through the defense.
