The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jeronimo Chorache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Maties having to interfere. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Perón FC's goalkeeper Teo Maties, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jeronimo Chorache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Teo Maties tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leandro Benvide hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Teo Maties made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Chorache in the 19th minute of play. Dante Santiago struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Teo Maties didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ceballos AFC. Perón FC's Teo Maties played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Santiago in the 30th minute of play. Rogelio Raulo charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rogelio Raulo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rogelio Raulo kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Teo Maties took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeronimo Chorache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristo Chayo made a kick off. German Feliz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Teo Maties came out and tried to block the shot, but German Feliz slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 51st minute. In the last second Teo Maties throw himself and got hold of the ball when Dante Santiago in the 56thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Jeronimo Chorache got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cristo Chayo charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristo Chayo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Teo Maties showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Santiago in the 69th minute of the match. Dante Santiago might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teo Maties. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dante Santiago ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice moves Jeronimo Chorache could shoot a difficult shot in the 81st minute, which Teo Maties however easily saved by the left post. When Jeronimo Chorache came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Ceballos AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeronimo Chorache couldn't finish the play. Dante Santiago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Ceballos AFC's Dante Santiago slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Teo Maties. That made the score 0-3 after 85 minutes of play. Dante Santiago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Teo Maties tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ceballos AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
