Spectators: 7060 (Terracing: 5404, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Wilfredo Milian got the match started through his kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dante Santiago couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ubaldo Abaurre during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edelmiro Polo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Milian, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Melquiades Honesto's late challenge caught a Ceballos AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeronimo Chorache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Jonas Jerico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eloy Markel struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Edelmiro Polo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Achuppallas. In the 41st minute Eloy Markel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Polo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Achuppallas's supporters rose to their feet, but Eloy Markel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edelmiro Polo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Achuppallas's Wilfredo Milian in the 73rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Edelmiro Polo was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Ceballos AFC through an amazing save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eloy Markel got free with Edelmiro Polo in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Ceballos AFC's Edelmiro Polo got control of the ball when Eloy Markel tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 83 played minutes, Ceballos AFC's Julian Damario shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonas Jerico came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ceballos AFC reached it. After having played for 90 minutes, Guillermo Fanuco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ceballos AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillermo Fanuco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonas Jerico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Santiago, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
