Ezequiel Erramun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Talleres de Cordoba's Ezequiel Erramun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicanor Vimaro in the 43rd minute of play. Ezequiel Erramun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kabesaurio. After having played for 74 minutes, Paolo Elixio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kabesaurio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paolo Elixio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Nicanor Vimaro came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Kabesaurio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicanor Vimaro couldn't finish the play. Paolo Elixio got in the 79th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Ezequiel Erramun handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar.
