The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Melchor Abascal during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Melchor Abascal kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Fulton's Silvestre Precioso shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 23rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Lorenzo Fliz but with some difficulty. The audience was convinced that Cosme Otsoko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lorenzo Fliz was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. David Guifre's late challenge caught a Fulton's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 28th minute, Silvestre Precioso sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Surisaltana FC's Lorenzo Fliz didn't even have to move. 30 minutes into the match, Serafin Guipuzkoa notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Surisaltana FC's Lorenzo Fliz. Lorenzo Fliz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Fulton's zone, Nunez Mergildo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Senio came out of the goal and Nunez Mergildo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Fulton's Silvestre Gitano got a free kick in the 37th minute. Tomas Senio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nunez Mergildo's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute, Angelo Frances hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Fulton's zone, Americo Elodio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Senio came out of the goal and Americo Elodio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cosme Otsoko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo Fliz having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Cosme Otsoko made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nunez Mergildo in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomas Senio saved Fulton from getting behind. Angelo Frances hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the match, Fulton's goalkeeper Tomas Senio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Americo Elodio. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Nunez Mergildo took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Tomas Senio to make any attempt to save it. Melchor Abascal took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomas Senio. Tomas Senio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 94 minutes into the match, Surisaltana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Otsoko came free, but Lorenzo Fliz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th match minute, Surisaltana FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dionisio Bilintx to maneuver through the defense. If Cosme Otsoko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
