Niceto Lauro hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Venancio Frasco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independencia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Venancio Frasco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonso Evis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Independencia FC's Tobias Tonio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Independencia FC from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute, Rogelio Gurutz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Albigasta Super Onda Tele fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Alfonso Evis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venancio Frasco in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Albigasta Super Onda Tele's goalkeeper Alfonso Evis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Independencia FC fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Independencia FC's Venancio Frasco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Niceto Lauro took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfonso Evis. Alfonso Evis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Albigasta Super Onda Tele's goalkeeper Alfonso Evis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Venancio Frasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Evis having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Albigasta Super Onda Tele's zone, Niceto Lauro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Evis came out of the goal and Niceto Lauro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Rogelio Gurutz's late challenge caught a Independencia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rogelio Gurutz helped the player get up and apologised. After 52 played minutes Albigasta Super Onda Tele got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Gurutz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Frasco in the 63rd minute of play forced Albigasta Super Onda Tele's goalkeeper Alfonso Evis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niceto Lauro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute Nemesio Gorri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Tonio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfonso Evis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Niceto Lauro went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. When the final whistle sounded Independencia FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Albigasta Super Onda Tele.
