Spectators: 7274 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) Anjuli FC's Paolo Donostia started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paolo Donostia in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lázaro Dorio saved Espirillos AFC from getting behind. Lázaro Dorio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicasio Marquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 12 minutes into the game, Silvano Weather cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Florencio Rubio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 15th minute Nicasio Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Dorio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicasio Marquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Lázaro Dorio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 19 minutes, Paolo Donostia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anjuli FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paolo Donostia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lázaro Dorio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paolo Donostia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Anjuli FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Nicasio Marquez hit a great ball. Lázaro Dorio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Donostia in the 26th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Espirillos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Marquez came free, but Lázaro Dorio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicasio Marquez in the 32nd minute of play forced Espirillos AFC's goalkeeper Lázaro Dorio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lázaro Dorio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicasio Marquez in the 34th minute of the match. Silvano Weather fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Rubio having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Celestino Salomon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38th minute, one of Espirillos AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Espirillos AFC. Arsenio Gonza shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 42 minutes into the game, Ramiro Silbestre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Espirillos AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Anjuli FC the free kick. Ramiro Silbestre kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Espirillos AFC's Lázaro Dorio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicasio Marquez in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celestino Salomon was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute, Nicasio Marquez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lázaro Dorio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Espirillos AFC's zone, Nicasio Marquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lázaro Dorio came out of the goal and Nicasio Marquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anjuli FC's Paolo Donostia got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Anjuli FC's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Salomon came free, but Florencio Rubio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Nicasio Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anjuli FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicasio Marquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lázaro Dorio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paolo Donostia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Dorio having to interfere. Nicasio Marquez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Lázaro Dorio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gregorio Sansone hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Florencio Rubio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvano Weather's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Silvano Weather recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorio Sansone in the 88th minute of play forced Espirillos AFC's goalkeeper Lázaro Dorio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Anjuli FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Espirillos AFC throughout the match.
