Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ciriaco Herensuge started the match with the kick off. Alfonso Gomez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Haroldo Ralondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciriaco Herensuge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfonso Gomez might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teobaldo Azibar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfonso Gomez ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Casabindo's Teobaldo Azibar got control of the ball when Martin Lope tried to sneak it across the goal line. Casabindo's Teobaldo Azibar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Casabindo from getting a goal against them. In the 16th minute, Alfonso Gomez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Teobaldo Azibar. The goal made the score 1-0. 20 minutes into the game, Alejo Jaen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Casabindo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ETERNUM the free kick. In the 20th minute, Alejo Jaen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teobaldo Azibar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfonso Gomez's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Casabindo's Teobaldo Azibar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Casabindo from getting a goal against them. Martin Lope's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Teobaldo Azibar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eduardo Sal in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Haroldo Ralondo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 37 minutes into the match, Casabindo's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Gomez came free, but Teobaldo Azibar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute of the match ETERNUM got a corner. Casabindo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ruperto Tello ran over to the corner to take the kick. ETERNUM's Ruperto Tello was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Teobaldo Azibar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 45 minutes into the match, Casabindo's goalkeeper Teobaldo Azibar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Lope. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Alfonso Gomez made the kick off in the second half. Martin Lope sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Martin Lope had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haroldo Ralondo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eduardo Sal in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute, Ciriaco Herensuge got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ETERNUM's Haroldo Ralondo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save ETERNUM from getting a goal against them. Casabindo's Teobaldo Azibar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Gomez in the 62nd minute of play. Haroldo Ralondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciriaco Herensuge in the 69th minute of the match. After 76 played minutes ETERNUM got a freekick which was hit by Timoteo Fidencio. 77 minutes into the game, Casabindo's Eduardo Sal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Haroldo Ralondo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The supporters of ETERNUM booed when Casabindo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erasmo Eudoxio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute Martin Lope shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobaldo Azibar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Ciriaco Herensuge managed to get in a good position for a shot. Casabindo's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciriaco Herensuge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haroldo Ralondo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Haroldo Ralondo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eduardo Sal went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Martin Lope recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Martin Lope came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the ETERNUM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Lope couldn't finish the play. Eduardo Sal struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Haroldo Ralondo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Casabindo. Martin Lope sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Casabindo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Casabindo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
