In the 20th minute there was a penalty for Start Calzados. Flavio Esiquio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fernan Aztore. 1-0. Venancio Erramu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernan Aztore having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Fausto Serafo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fernan Aztore was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. When Ciriaco Fe fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Start Calzados's zone, Severino Baldovino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgard Atauri came out of the goal and Severino Baldovino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 33 played minutes Start Calzados got a freekick which was hit by Candido Selmo. Adrian Farias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Edgard Atauri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Start Calzados's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Farias came free, but Edgard Atauri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Venancio Erramu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Fernan Aztore was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Severino Baldovino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Fausto Serafo made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marciano Dorio during the 52nd minute. Start Calzados's Edgard Atauri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Farias in the 73rd minute of play. Fernan Aztore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venancio Erramu in the 75th minute of the match. Ferrocarril REU FC's Fernan Aztore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Serafo in the 81st minute of play. In the 86th minute, Severino Baldovino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Adrian Farias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Start Calzados were victorious despite being under pressure from Ferrocarril REU FC for much of the match.
