Freddy Maria's late challenge caught a COESA FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Freddy Maria helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Calabacillas's Freddy Maria got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 6th minute, Arnulfo Olentzaro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Calabacillas's Humberto Montay didn't even have to move. Calabacillas's Humberto Montay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Sansone in the 8th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Calabacillas's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Sansone came free, but Humberto Montay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Arnulfo Olentzaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. COESA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnulfo Olentzaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Humberto Montay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Calabacillas's Humberto Montay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Sansone in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute of the match Jacobo Oliverio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Humberto Montay showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Omar Sansone came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the COESA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Omar Sansone couldn't finish the play. Humberto Montay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Sansone in the 21st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aaron Poncio in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adrian Tanio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 28th minute, Candido Caitano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Calabacillas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Gustavo Berriotxoa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Humberto Montay made a huge save. If Candido Caitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 51st minute, Gustavo Berriotxoa made a precise shot to the right of Humberto Montay. Calabacillas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Gustavo Berriotxoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the match, COESA FC's Gustavo Berriotxoa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Humberto Montay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to COESA FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Nunez Mateus hit a great ball. Candido Caitano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 65 minutes, Candido Caitano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calabacillas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Candido Caitano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Candido Caitanos short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Adrian Tanio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Omar Sansone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Montay having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Samuel Feliz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Humberto Montay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo Berriotxoa's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. With a little luck, COESA FC's Adrian Tanio got control of the ball when Candido Caitano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aaron Poncio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adrian Tanio having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Candido Caitano got free with Adrian Tanio in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Calabacillas's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
