Norberto Cugat took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raimundo Calvino. Raimundo Calvino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Norberto Cugat succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 21st playminute. In the 27th minute, German Cordareo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pablo Iturri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Tome, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dario Munio kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Belgrano de Cordoba's goal looked a bit too open when German Cordareo came free, but Pablo Iturri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. German Cordareo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Pablo Iturri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcos Bartuelo in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raimundo Calvino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcos Bartuelo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raimundo Calvino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. If Norberto Cugat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcos Bartuelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Calvino having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when German Cordareo got free with Pablo Iturri in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Firmat's goalkeeper Raimundo Calvino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Belgrano de Cordoba booed when Firmat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Benitez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pablo Iturri made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when German Cordareo sent off a good shot on target. Firmat's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
