In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind platense fc's goalkeeper Hipolito Corderro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iker Steven to make the kick off. Fernan Daunte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hipolito Corderro having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Cosme Montrell made a precise shot to the right of Hipolito Corderro. platense fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Hipolito Corderro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernan Daunte in the 67th minute of the match. Fernan Daunte took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hipolito Corderro. Hipolito Corderro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Hipolito Corderro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosme Montrell, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Cosme Montrell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 80th minute, Fernan Daunte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hipolito Corderro was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 84th minute, Isaias Aurken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in platense fc's zone, Fernan Daunte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hipolito Corderro came out of the goal and Fernan Daunte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 88 minutes into the match, Esquina's Cosme Montrell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hipolito Corderro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 90 minutes platense fc's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Agustin Socorro who took care of the corner kick. In the 93rd minute, Cosme Montrell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Fernan Daunte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esquina's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernan Daunte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hipolito Corderro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Esquina walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
