If Geronimo Rios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Melchor Gilabert fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Orense FC's protests and gave Melchor Gilabert a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Orense FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Melchor Gilabert hit a great ball. Pelojo FC's Raimundo Quilo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Jakobe in the 14th minute of play. The supporters of Orense FC booed when Pelojo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basilio Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horacio Venerando got free with Raimundo Quilo in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 22 minutes into the game, Isidro Abeijon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Orense FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pelojo FC the free kick. A collision led to Orense FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Isidro Abeijon hit a great ball. Tiburcio Delfino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliberto Dominix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Orense FC's Ariel Jakobe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raimundo Quilo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ariel Jakobe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Horacio Venerando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Horacio Venerando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Severo Odilon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Esteve Cordeal missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 38 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Tiburcio Delfino right hand side. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Pelojo FC's goalkeeper Raimundo Quilo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ariel Jakobe to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Orense FC's Horacio Venerando sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raimundo Quilo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 53rd minute, Horacio Venerando made a precise shot to the right of Raimundo Quilo. Pelojo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After some careless play in the Orense FC defense, Geronimo Rios kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tiburcio Delfino. The Orense FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiburcio Delfino should have stopped the shot. In the 60th minute Geronimo Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Delfino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Horacio Venerando cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Raimundo Quilo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ariel Jakobe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Orense FC fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Orense FC's Horacio Venerando looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Isidro Abeijon was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 85 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Orense FC's Isidro Abeijon got a free kick in the 85th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geronimo Rios in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tiburcio Delfino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Orense FC's Horacio Venerando got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 89th minute Horacio Venerando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Quilo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Melchor Gilabert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st match minute, Pelojo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomero Gelacio to maneuver through the defense. Pelojo FC's Raimundo Quilo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horacio Venerando in the 92nd minute of play. Horacio Venerando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ariel Jakobe struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Raimundo Quilo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Orense FC. There was no doubt that Orense FC were the better team. Orense FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
