Arnoldo Pereyra had in the 18thth minute some difficulties stopping Laureano Eleder's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 23rd minute, Marcelino Rodas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luciano Nazario succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 25th playminute.
