Pericotes AFC's Felipe Jusepe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Lizer in the 6th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Pericotes AFC's zone, Ricardo Lizer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felipe Jusepe came out of the goal and Ricardo Lizer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ricardo Lizer was extremely unlucky when he, in the 9th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ricardo Lizer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute, Fidel Mergildo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximino Fernado was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Felipe Jusepe successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 20th minute, Elias Chus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felipe Jusepe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Lizer in the 26th minute of the match. In the 29th minute of the match Silvestre Lucado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Felipe Jusepe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Fidel Mergildo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pericotes AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fidel Mergildo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximino Fernado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37th minute Fidel Mergildo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Fernado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fidel Mergildo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Jaunzuria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pericotes AFC's Fidel Mergildo got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. SAN MIGUEL AFC's Ricardo Lizer got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. SAN MIGUEL AFC's Maximino Fernado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save SAN MIGUEL AFC from getting a goal against them. Damian Ramos struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Felipe Jusepe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SAN MIGUEL AFC. Felipe Jusepe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ricardo Lizer went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Pericotes AFC booed when SAN MIGUEL AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernabe Gaufred didn't get a good kick on the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
