After a rather tough play, Vilar's Bernardino Jurdan got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 45th minute of the match, Fabio Atarratze tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Baltasar Ramone saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Nereo Goito charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nereo Goito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 47 played minutes Uribelarrea FC got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Goito. After a defensive mix-up in Uribelarrea FC's zone, Severino Guter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benicio Felipillo came out of the goal and Severino Guter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabio Atarratze to make the kick off. Simon Filipo charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Simon Filipo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Vilar supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vilar would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
