Spectators: 7274 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fidel Tello kicked off to start the match. Sarasa AFC's Carmelo Ubendu got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Faustino Abechuco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Demesio having to interfere. After 11 minutes of play, Sarasa AFC's Faustino Abechuco made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximino Demesio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carmelo Ubendu in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximino Demesio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19th minute Faustino Abechuco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Demesio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cecilio Garaile got free with Gilberto Eyague in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Faustino Abechuco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Maximino Demesio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximino Demesio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustino Abechuco, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Carmelo Ubendu might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maximino Demesio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carmelo Ubendu ran back to his position shaking his head. Faustino Abechuco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Demesio having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Carmelo Ubendu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximino Demesio was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Carmelo Ubendu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximino Demesio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carmelo Ubendu made a kick off. Sarasa AFC's Faustino Abechuco got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute Cecilio Garaile shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Eyague saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Jesus Illan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute, Tapia's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Faustino Abechuco fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Faustino Abechuco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes in the game, Carmelo Ubendu fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Maximino Demesio having to interfere. In the 73rdth minute of the game Carmelo Ubendu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tapia's Maximino Demesio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Carmelo Ubendu came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Sarasa AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carmelo Ubendu couldn't finish the play. Faustino Abechuco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Demesio having to interfere. 83 minutes in the game, Carmelo Ubendu fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Maximino Demesio having to interfere. If Faustino Abechuco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sarasa AFC's Carmelo Ubendu got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maximino Demesio was a little too slow when Faustino Abechuco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 0-3. The Tapia fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sarasa AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
