Adolfo Unax kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Amado Txomin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Hugo Marino made a huge save. Hugo Marino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victoriano Froylan in the 13th minute of the match. If Amado Txomin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victoriano Froylan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugo Marino having to make a save. Hugo Marino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amado Txomin in the 21st minute. Adolfo Unax kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Pedro Claude was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 28th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Paranay's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Tomás Beltran managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. Leones Verdes's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Beltran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximo Silviano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 48 minutes into the match, C.A. Leones Verdes's goal looked a bit too open when Victoriano Froylan came free, but Hugo Marino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adolfo Unax was the one to do the kick off. When Tomás Beltran fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A. Leones Verdes's protests and gave Tomás Beltran a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to C.A. Leones Verdes getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Tomás Beltran hit a great ball. After having played for 60 minutes, Adolfo Unax managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. Leones Verdes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolfo Unax was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Amado Txomin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hugo Marino was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Victoriano Froylan struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Hugo Marino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Victoriano Froylan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute Victoriano Froylan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Marino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Adolfo Unax had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th match minute, Paranay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Furman to maneuver through the defense. Paranay's Maximo Silviano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Beltran in the 93rd minute of play. After 95 played minutes C.A. Leones Verdes got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Unax. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
