Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mauricio Tono took the kick off in the first half of the match. Americo Jakobe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Cisco in the 9th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Mugueta's zone, Ciro Salomon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Americo Jakobe came out of the goal and Ciro Salomon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ciro Salomon charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciro Salomon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ciro Salomon kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Jairo Ariando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Tono in the 15th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Guaycurú's Ulises Tercero got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 19th minute, Ulises Tercero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute, Mauricio Tono left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mugueta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 24 played minutes Mugueta got a freekick which was hit by Domingo Rios. Ciro Salomon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Americo Jakobe having to interfere. If Matias Cisco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Americo Jakobe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciro Salomon in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute, Ciro Salomon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mugueta's Americo Jakobe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Cisco in the 38th minute of play. Matias Cisco struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Americo Jakobe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guaycurú. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Damaso Gora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Matias Cisco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Americo Jakobe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Cisco in the 64th minute of play. Guaycurú's Ciro Salomon got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Americo Jakobe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Cisco in the 73rd minute of the match. Americo Jakobe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. A hard shot 96 in the game by Benjamin Caetano from a close distance when the talented Jairo Ariando managed to make a qualified save. Guaycurú's players were relieved. When the referee ended the match the Guaycurú players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
