Ubaldo Pelagius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabricio Ugaitz in the 5th minute of the match. With a little luck, C. A. Longchamps's Ubaldo Pelagius got control of the ball when Bartolo Vistruario tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cesar Goyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Ferrando having to interfere. Melquiades Txema sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felix Ferrando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 23 minutes into the game, Bartolo Vistruario was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cangrejilla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C. A. Longchamps the free kick. Severo Dei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felix Ferrando read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Bartolo Vistruario kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cangrejilla's Pastor Lore got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 31st minute, Melquiades Txema made a precise shot to the right of Felix Ferrando. Cangrejilla's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Cangrejilla's zone, Cesar Goyo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Ferrando came out of the goal and Cesar Goyo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Txema in the 37th minute of play forced Cangrejilla's goalkeeper Felix Ferrando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severo Dei made a great header on C. A. Longchamps's corner, it was just that Cangrejilla's Felix Ferrando managed to reach the ball for a save. After having played for 40 minutes, Cesar Goyo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. A. Longchamps's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesar Goyo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rd minute Melquiades Txema shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Ferrando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Ferrando didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cesar Goyo went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Cesar Goyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Ferrando having to interfere. Fabricio Ugaitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Ubaldo Pelagius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
